First Responders Endorse Hoyer’s Reelection to Congress

BOWIE, MD – Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (MD-05) has been endorsed for his reelection to Congress in the Fifth Congressional District by fire service and law enforcement organizations, including the International Association of Fire Fighters, the Deputy Sheriffs Association of Prince George’s County, and the Maryland Fraternal Order of Police. 

“Fire fighters and law enforcement officials put their lives on the line every day to keep our communities safe,” said Congressman Hoyer. “I am proud to stand with them and work to ensure that they have the resources they need through the Assistance to Firefighter Grant Program, the Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response Firefighters Program, and the COPS Hiring Recovery Program. I will continue to be a strong advocate for these brave men and women, and I thank them for their support.”
