Hoyer Attends Early Vote Rally in Anne Arundel County

ANNAPOLIS, MD -- This evening, Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (MD-05) joined Senator Ben Cardin, Rep. Chris Van Hollen, Rep. John Sarbanes, and Speaker of the Maryland House Mike Busch for an early vote rally in Anne Arundel County.

"I was proud to cast my ballot today for Hillary Clinton," said Congressman Hoyer. "Secretary Clinton is extraordinarily able and has shown how strong, steady, and substantive she is throughout this campaign. Donald Trump, on the other hand, has spent the past fifteen months denigrating our country and putting the values of our country at risk. We have a duty to vote and ensure Hillary Clinton is our next President. Our children need her, our families need her, our country needs her and she's going to win."

"I am also proud to support Chris Van Hollen for Senate," continued Congressman Hoyer. "There is a stark difference between our two parties. While our philosophy is 'we are in this together,' Republicans continue to tell the American people, 'you're on your own.' That's why we need to send Chris to the Senate where he can continue to advocate for Maryland families. I'm going to be working every day to ensure Hillary Clinton, Chris Van Hollen, and other Democrats on the ballot win on Election Day.  I urge every Marylander to vote early and remind family, friends, and neighbors to head to the polls."

Early voting in Maryland started Thursday, October 27 and runs through Thursday, November 3rd. Early voting locations will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. every day. Click here to see a list of early voting locations.
