June 2 Primary Election

Maryland’s primary election has been moved to June 2, and you are strongly encouraged to vote-by-mail to keep our community safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. All eligible voters will be mailed a ballot.

There are three easy ways to vote in the June 2 primary election:

  1. At Home Through the Mail: Fill out the ballot you received in the mail, sign the envelope, and drop it in the mail before June 2. Return postage is paid for your ballot.
  2. Drop it Off: If you would prefer not to put your completed ballot in the mail, you may drop it off at a ballot box location. Click here to find a secure ballot box location in your county. All ballots must be dropped off by 8pm on June 2.
  3. Vote In-Person: Each county in the Fifth District will have between one and four in-person voting locations. Each voting location is only open on Election Day, Tuesday, June 2 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. If you choose to vote this way we encourage you to allow plenty of time, wear a mask, and practice social distancing as much as possible.
