June 2 Primary Election

Maryland’s primary election has been moved to June 2, and you are strongly encouraged to vote-by-mail to keep our community safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. All eligible voters will be mailed a ballot.

There are three easy ways to vote in the June 2 primary election:

  1. At Home Through the Mail: You will receive your ballot by mid-May. Fill out your ballot, sign the envelope, and drop it in the mail. Return postage is paid for your ballot.
  2. Drop it Off: If you would prefer not to put your completed ballot in the mail, you may drop it off at a ballot drop box location. Click here to find a secure ballot drop box location in your county. Ballot drop box locations will be available from May 21 through June 2. All ballots must be dropped off by 8pm on June 2.
  3. Vote In-Person: Each county in the Fifth District will have between one and four in-person voting locations. Each voting location is only open on Election Day, June 2 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
