Hoyer Re-Elected to Congress
FIFTH DISTRICT MD – Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (MD-5) released the following statement tonight after Maryland voters chose him as their Representative for Congress: “I am honored to have been re-elected to Congress by the voters of the Fifth District. I have been proud to call Maryland my home for most of my life and I look forward to continuing my work representing my constituents focusing on the issues important to them and ensuring that the Fifth District is a place that we are all proud to call ‘home.’ “Over the past two years I have fought to pull our economy out of its worst crisis since the Great Depression yet there are far too many Marylanders still out of work and struggling under the weight of economic uncertainty.
