WHITE PLAINS, MD -- This evening, Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (MD-05) stopped by a Charles County GOTV rally in White Plains, MD, and thanked volunteers for taking the time to get out the vote for Hillary Clinton and Maryland Democrats.
“I want to thank all of you for working to get people out to the polls tomorrow,” said Congressman Hoyer. “Tomorrow, we are going to elect Hillary Clinton as the next President of the United States. Donald Trump wants to undermine all of the progress we've made in America toward fulfilling our founding tenet that ‘all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights.’ Hillary will continue that progress - that's what this election is about.”
“Tomorrow, we will also elect Chris Van Hollen as the next U.S. Senator from Maryland,” continued Hoyer. “We are losing a force of nature in Barbara Mikulski, but Chris is a worthy successor and he will be an extraordinary Senator.”
“Tomorrow we will work hard and win big,” concluded Hoyer. “And on Wednesday, we will reach out and bring people together. Because, as Hillary says, we are stronger together.”
