UPPER MARLBORO, MD – Today, Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (MD-5) delivered remarks at the annual Prince George’s County Ploughman and Fisherman Unity Breakfast in Upper Marlboro, Maryland hosted by the Prince George’s County Democratic Central Committee. At the event, Hoyer spoke in support of Maryland's Democratic candidates and discussed Democrats' commitment to growing our economy and expanding the middle class.
“I was pleased to attend this morning’s breakfast with fellow Democrats to send a clear message that we are united and energized in Prince George’s County and across the state,” said Congressman Hoyer. “Prince George’s County is going to be critical on November 4th, which is why we need everyone to sign up for volunteer shifts and to remind their friends and neighbors to vote."
“I’m proud to be running on a Democratic ticket in Prince George’s County led by our next governor, Anthony Brown, and our next lieutenant governor, Ken Ulman," continued Congressman Hoyer. "All of our candidates are fighting for Maryland and for America. Together, we can win on November 4th and continue to ensure all Maryland families have the opportunity to reach the middle class and make it in America.”
