Hoyer Statement on David Trone
FIFTH DISTRICT, MD - Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (MD-05) released the following statement after Democrat David Trone, candidate for Maryland's Sixth Congressional District, announced he is undergoing treatment for a tumor:
"While I was sorry to hear the news of David’s diagnosis, he is a fighter and I'm pleased to hear that his prognosis is for a full recovery. I am confident that David will make an outstanding Member of Congress and represent the people of Maryland well when he wins in November. My thoughts are with David, June, and the entire Trone family as he battles this illness, and I join in sending my best wishes for a quick recovery."
