Hoyer Visits NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center

GREENBELT, MD - This morning, Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (MD-05) visited NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center to receive an update on the different missions of the Center, including the James Webb Space Telescope and the RESTORE-L Mission.

"Ensuring NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center has the resources it needs to effectively continue its ongoing missions remains a top priority of mine in Congress," said Congressman Hoyer. "I appreciated the opportunity to visit the facility today and receive an update on the many critical missions the employees at Goddard are focused on, including the James Webb Space Telescope and the RESTORE-L Mission. The hardworking federal employees and contractors who work at Goddard are doing critically important work to improve our understanding of Earth and the universe around us, and we must continue to support the work they do."

"I've worked hard to combat efforts by the Trump Administration to zero out funding for many of Goddard's missions and will continue to do so," continued Congressman Hoyer. "I was glad to meet with Goddard employees this morning to reaffirm my commitment to supporting their missions."
