Labor Groups Endorse Hoyer’s Reelection to Congress

BOWIE, MD – Congressman Steny H. Hoyer has been endorsed for his reelection to Congress in the Fifth Congressional District by several labor groups, including the American Postal Workers Union, AFL-CIO; UNITE HERE; the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen; the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Iron Ship Builders, Blacksmiths, Forgers and Helpers; and the Service Employees International Union Maryland (SEIU) and D.C. State Council.

“These hard working men and women have made our country the most prosperous nation in the world, and I’m very pleased to receive their endorsement,” stated Congressman Hoyer. “The Make It In America plan I’m leading in Congress will help workers and their families secure a place in America's middle class and strengthen our economy. I am proud to stand with Fifth District workers, and I will continue to work to create well-paying jobs here in Maryland and help ensure more families can make it in America.”
